We got this fridge for such a good deal after our old one broke down. We were able to find it in stock, and available to take the same day. I found it to be a very good price for the size. The inside is very spacious and I like that the doors can be removed and switched around if needed. I got the white one and the finish feels so smooth and high quality. The inside has all the necessary shelves and compartments. The freezer can also fit a lot of food. I love how quiet it is compared to our last fridge. It's such a low hum, at first I wondered if it was even plugged in. It cools very efficiently and evenly. The set up was pretty easy, just roll it into place and plug it in. No water lines needed. I ultimately gave it a 4 star rating because I wish it came with a cheese drawer. I ended up keeping the one from my last fridge and it fits perfectly once I rearranged the shelves. I also find the shelves are a little difficult to clean because the glass does not detach. If something spills and leaks between the glass and plastic section of the shelves, its hard to rinse off. I still love it and highly recommend it. We've had ours for a few years and it's been working perfectly. It's a great quality, spacious refrigerator.

i bought this LG refrigerator last January, and have had it for roughly ten months now. i would hesitate to recommend it to a friend. Sure, it keeps a steady temperature. You would expect that and it goes without saying. It is very quiet, too. BUT, in my experience, the door is NOT reversable. i've tried twice. The first time i had it down to the final hinge on the bottom of the door, but could not budge that hinge with a hand held screwdriver. So i went out and bought a rechargeable screwdriver, and it made no difference. i was worried about stripping the screws, and simply learned to live with the non-reversable door.
There seems to be a more significant problem developing over the past 8 weeks, and since it's been at least six months since i tried reversing the door, i have my doubts there is a connection. The new problem is that when the refrigerator door closes, it forces the freezer door to open slightly, and if i'm not paying attention, the freezer door STAYS OPEN until i physically shut it.
The fridge looks sleek, runs smoothly, etc. But i cannot say i would recommend it considering the problem with the refrigerator door causing the freezer door to pop ajar.
[Rewarded Review] Great Refrigerator For The Price!

Hello, We got this refrigerator on black friday for $599.00 at Lowes. We replaced a fifteen year old general electric model that the compressor broke costing close to what we paid for this model. We had the old refrigerator hauled away because we did not want to fix it by Lowes delivery team. We do not like the shelves inside because they tend to show small spider cracks and we have light weight on them. We had the same problem with our old refrigerator too doing the same thing. We feel the inside shelves need improvement with metal rack shelves that are easy to remove and install. These shelves are hard to remove due to the lock tooth built in to the track. They are not impossible to remove but they are easy to install. They slide right in very easily. The refrigerator is very quiet and stays ice cold through out the year. We talked to a guy that made replacement shelves for this refrigerator out of thin plywood and he works at Lowes. We do love our new refrigerator and we ordered a spare shelf under warranty for free in case they break and can not use anymore.

This fridge has 2 temperature settings, one for the fridge and one for the freezer part. Everything was in the middle setting when I got it, but it was way too cold. It froze my food very fast and it only took an hour for the fridge to be cold enough. I put the freezer on the lowest and it still freezes perfectly. I kept the fridge on the middle setting which is just the right temperature for my food. This fridge is way colder than my last french door Samsung that only made it for 7 years and was more than double the price. Go figure. The fridge is very quiet, which I love. It does not have any light in the freezer part, but I don't need any light as I do not eat anything late or at night. So far I am pretty happy with it, but of course it's way too early to tell if this fridge will last longer than my 7 year old Samsung. What I don't like about it is that the fridge door is so low, that if you stand right in front of it, it will squish your feet. Never go barefoot of with flipflops and stand close to it, when you open the door or you will end up with hematomas on your feet. Take that in consideration when you open the door. It happened to me once and now I have trained myself to keep some distance when I open the door.
